A Dream That Will Need All the Love You Can Give…

It is of course no coincidence that I started the snapshot reel of the Divas’ first concert with me singing that excerpt from Climb Ev’ry Mountain. 

Only one year ago the idea that became Diva Energy® was still just a nagging thought at the back of my mind. I felt unfulfilled, uneasy in my purpose. I had taken a year out of my music world, put down my conducting baton - but singing kept tapping me on the shoulder. 

I knew I wanted to create something different, something complete - but for the individual performer. I knew there was an energy I used when performing that could be learnt, harnessed and used by all the people who were telling me they would love to sing, BUT…

Today the dream is in full technicolour. The snapshot video I posted this morning is evidence of that. (You can see it above)

My dream was to create a space where those who had ever felt excluded from singing, or had lost their confidence, or who knew they could do more - but didn’t know how, could come and support each other together. Where they could receive training not only one to one but also in small groups - in larger groups and prepare with vocal, performance and mindset technique - becoming the most present, most powerful versions of themselves. Standing in their light and shining it for others. Then performing in concerts for wonderful charities - our last concert raised £2500 and the next one is on line to do the same or even more. 

What we have done over the course of the last 9 months and it’s just the beginning. Over the next 12 months we will be training hard - giving many more charity concerts - the next one is December 7th The Jingle Concert  and in the New Year we start working towards releasing our first album.
